From 9.00 pm on Saturday 5 September until 7.00 am on Sunday 6 September, the motorway section between Portogruaro and San Donà di Piave, including the associated junctions, will be closed in both directions due to works relating to the construction of the third carriageway.
- Mandatory exit at Portogruaro for those travelling from Trieste (alternative motorway routes: A28, A27 and the Pedemontana Veneta expressway).
- Mandatory exit at San Donà di Piave for those travelling from Venice.
- Traffic travelling on the southbound carriageway of the A28 (from Conegliano) will only be able to join the A4 in the direction of Trieste; those heading towards Venice, using alternative routes on the ordinary road network, will be able to rejoin the A4 at the San Donà di Piave junction.
